The Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI) is aware of recent media reports regarding changes to Pan Oceanic Bank (POB)’s board positions that may have caused unease and anxiety in the market especially to POB clients.

The CBSI assures POB customers and clients that the changes to Board positions does not affect the stability and operations of POB. POB is managed by experienced professional staff at the operational level and continues to operate within the regulatory and prudential requirements of CBSI.
